This camper has the pop - up soft sides, which enables that low profile while traveling.It is designed to fit 1/2 ton, 3/4 ton and 1 ton trucks with a 5 1/2 or 6 1/2 foot bed. It is lightweight, spacious and comfortable. It has the Hi -Gloss grey exterior, electric jacks, and lift with remote. Expandable, aluminum steps (4 steps) for ease of entry. On demand water heater, and a hot/cold outside shower. This unit features an 11,000 BTU Air Conditioner and a Maxx Air power vent to kep you cool in the summer and 20,000 BTU Suburban furnance to take the chill off on those chilly mornings by the lake. The SS550 sleeps 2 adults comortably and the U-shaped dinette will easily break down for extra sleeping accomodations. The kitcken boasts a 3.3 cubic ft. refrigerator w/ freezer, 2 burner "Greystone" gas cooktop and a single basin sink w/ an high rise kitchen faucet. There is plenty of storage both ing the living area and in the sleeping area. The Backpack series are always beautifully designed with white cabinetry and black satin finish hardware, along with black satin finish on the kitchen faucet. This SS550 is equipped for that off grid experience as well with 400 watt solar, charge controller, a 100 AMP lithium battery and a 15 gal. fresh water tank.
